beauty privilege is a myth.

it can’t be called privilege if you face adversity for being beautiful for example people putting prejudice on you for climbing the corporate ladder or stereotyping you like the dumb blonde stereotype

attractiveness is not related to high level success as most successful and wealthy men like founders and CEO’s of big corporations are conventionally unattractive sometimes even ugly

beauty privilege is often confused with other characteristics like confidence and conscientiousness that attractive people possess more than less attractive people.

natural beauty should be dissociated with taking care of outward appearance. most people who consider themselves ugly and cry about beauty privilege really aren’t ugly at, it is just that they neglect their outward appearance. if they made modest efforts into looking better like getting regular haircuts, taking care of their skin…etc would look significantly better.

I would say that taking care of yourself is more of a predictor of success than natural beauty.
